My boss told me of his friends went on a business trip to Manila. And on that trip he stumbled upon a Bibingkinitan stall where he tried out a mini-bibingka. He loved it so much he bought a lot of boxes to take home as pasalubong for his friends and relatives in Davao. Shortly upon arriving here in Davao City, he stumbled upon a similar stall in SM City Davao. LOL!

I was late for Day 4 since I had a hard time getting up from bed due to a minor illness. But I couldn’t just lie there and not learn anything so I tried to get to class around noon. Sadly, I missed all the lecture part and most of the baking. :( But I did meet Chef Rhea Castro who had shared really good tips and tricks about baking and handling doughs, as well as presenting and decorating them.

July 13, Mon – EASY THAI. Let Chef Toto Erfe wow you with these authentic thai dishes: Tom Yum Thalay, Salt-crusted dalag with Mam Nem Sauce, Shrimp and Pork in Lemongrass Sticks, Thai Wedding Curry, Khao Pod Sapparot and Ruamit.
Fee: Php 1500.00 (inclusive of ingredients) at 6-9 PM.

July 14, Tue – PIZZA & PASTA WORKSHOP. Café Ysabel Chef, Chef Toto Erfe will be teaching us basic pizza and pasta dough with sauces that can be used on pizza and on pasta at the same time. Recipes include Sausages and Caramelized Onion, Pesto-Tomato with Peppered Shrimp Sauce, Bacon and Cheeseburger Sauce, Truffle Scented Three Mushroom Sauce, Pepperoni, Salami and Roasted Pepper Sauce and Classic Puttanesca Sauce. Fee: P1,400.00 (inclusive of ingredients) at 6-9 PM.

July 15, Wed – EASY COFFEE SHOP DESSERTS from the HOT KITCHEN. Experience this not-your-usual-but-easy-coffee shop desserts recipes from Chef Toto Erfe. Recipes includes: Apple Raisin and Walnut Spanakopita, M&M’s Panacotta, Sour Tarts, Cheese Rolls, Biscotti and Coconut Bars
Fee: Php 1,400.00 (inclusive of ingredients) at 6-9 PM.
