Bibingkinitan

bibingkinitan

My boss told me of his friends went on a business trip to Manila. And on that trip he stumbled upon a Bibingkinitan stall where he tried out a mini-bibingka. He loved it so much he bought a lot of boxes to take home as pasalubong for his friends and relatives in Davao. Shortly upon arriving here in Davao City, he stumbled upon a similar stall in SM City Davao. LOL!

I recently tried this mini bibingka and I wasn’t disappointed. It is served hot and fresh from the oven, smothered with some melted butter, and sugar. I opted not to have sugar on mine, but it was delicious anyway. The bibingka itself was soft and tasty, not too sweet. And it was topped with a chunk of salty cheese and a slice of yummy red salted egg.

It’s a delicious, very Pinoy snack treat which I enjoyed thoroughly. It’s sold at P20 each. It’s good for munching on while at the mall, and even better to bring home and share with your family. Grab one of these tasty rice cakes now. :)

Here in Davao, Bibingkinitan stalls may be found at the first floor of the SM Mall of Davao (in front of the Bench store) and at the first floor of the NCCC Mall of Davao (in front of Helen’s Pawnshop).
