Kangaroo Choco Bread Pudding A La Mode
In French, “a la mode” means in current style or fashion. But when it comes to food, “a la mode” or “ala mode” means to serve with ice cream on the top or on the side.
This is a popular way of making yummy desserts and pastries even more yummy and interesting. Pies, brownies, and even cakes are warmed and served with chilled ice cream, usually vanilla.

For our second baking session with Doc Joanna (first session here), we decided to bake some brownies and some butter cake.
I have baked both before so it was a painless session.
Brownies
We chose this recipe and technique in making brownies since my cousin wanted fudgy, moist brownies. I think brownies are as good as the chocolate they’re made with. In this case we used imported cocoa powder from I forgot where.

Butter plus Chocolate
We made the brownies by melting butter and adding some cocoa powder.
